How are you creating space in your workplace to make meaningful connections in this virtual environment? With a lot of companies thrust into a virtual work-mode, management and employees feel isolated, burned out and disconnected from the organization, and one another. In an in-person environment, connections happen naturally. For example, you might arrive in the conference room a few minutes before a meeting begins or walk by someone’s desk and stop to chat. In a virtual workplace, conversations are less likely to happen spontaneously, so it’s important to be intentional and create space and opportunities for them to occur.
